PM visits parental home Bogura today after 20 years

The present Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the chairman of the largest political party BNP Tarique Rahman is expected to visit his parental home after 20 years on Monday at Bagbari area under Gabtoli upazila in Bogura.

Ahead of his visit at his parental home, huge decorative activities have been taken to make the visit at Bagbari area under Gabtoli upazila with festive and joyous mode as it is the first visit to his parental home as a Prime Minister.

 

Huge security measures have been taken so far in Bogura district by the law enforcers of Bangladesh as he will be in the fields areas for unveiling the foundation stones of Bogura City Corporation at Municipality premise and other development projects at different locations in the district.

 

PMO office letter regarding his visit, the newsmen were informed that he will start his journey to the gateway of northern part of Bangladesh by road at 6 AM and hopefully he will reach at 10.30 AM and inaugurated newly built Advocates Shomittee Bhobon and e-bail bond activities in the premise of Session and Judge Court of Bogura.

 

Later PM will start for his parental village home at Bagbari area under gabtoli upazila in Bogura and will inaugurate vaccination campaign’2026, distribute family cards among the root level people, inaugurate canal excavation project and visit his parental home Zia Bari at noon.

 

In the afternoon, he will deliver speech at a public meeting arranged by district unit BNP at historic Altafunnesa playground. He will also inaugurate new building of Bogura Press Club and reconstruction project of Baitur Rahman Central Mosque beside Station Road near Shatmatha in Bogura town.

 

Finally, he will start for Dhaka by road and halt for a while at Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogura for rest.
